Heavy loads can make any truck squat, throwing off steering and braking. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your stance level and stable. Adjustable from 5 psi to 100 psi, the air springs balance weight front to back or side to side, reducing strain on your suspension and keeping your headlights aimed right where they should be.
When road bumps or dips hit hard, the built-in urethane jounce bumpers inside each air spring step in to absorb shock and prevent bottoming out. They engage progressively—the more weight you carry, the stiffer they get—so your ride stays smooth whether you're loaded or empty. And if air pressure ever drops, those internal jounces act as a fail-safe to keep you rolling without sagging.

Each LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate spring uses 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber for strength you can count on. Endcaps are made from high-strength Zytel nylon that’s lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel. Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates protect the bags from damage and expand their surface area for a better ride at lower pressures. The urethane jounce inserts need no maintenance and hold up in both hot and cold weather.

Everything needed for installation is in the box—mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and manual inflation valves that can be tucked neatly on the bumper for easy access. Just mount the springs, air them up, and you’re ready to work or tow. Add an optional Air Lift compressor system later if you want in-cab or smartphone control over air pressure.
These LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs come with a lifetime warranty and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. That means you can bolt them on, load up, and drive knowing your suspension support is built to last as long as your truck does.

I am sorry that the package arrived in this condition. Once you get a chance to check and make sure everything is there, please let me know.
Exceptional customer service. Bought these for 30% less local performance shop estimated. Received follow-up calls and human advice when making the purchase and it made it much more simple than driving down to a performance shop. Looking forward to seeing how they work.
Excellent service. Easy to orde, free shipping and quick delivery.
this is the second airlift product bought in 2 weeks. i had a set put on my work truck first. i liked so much that i bought a set for my personal truck
Quality product, need to push all of the air out of the bags for install or you will fight them..pretty straight forward instructions, pretty simple install.
Haven’t installed yet but shipping was fast and arrived earlier than expected. Look forward to installing the air bags and air compressor. Keep up the good work etrailer
Installed on a 2021 GMC 3500 HD. Worked great after figuring out the placement of the Airbags. A install video on a newer truck would be helpful. Thanks again E-Trailer 6 stars on their customer service !
Pretty straight forward install, if you get the chassis lifted up enough. You really need more of the heat shield covering for the air lines, than what is included. That’s probably my only complaint so far.
As most of my heavier item packages have been from etrailer, this one was beat up when it arrived. Luckily it wasn’t damaged too bad and no parts were missing. I appreciated the videos showing installs on my type of truck. The product is good and installed as the videos indicates… It’d be nice if they gave a couple small brackets and maybe a 90 or two for the air lines. It was hard to find a spot without making a bracket.
The airlift 5000 fits my needs perfectly. We tow a 35’ fifth wheel camper with a GMC 2500. I air them up to 75lbs and the ride is perfect. Highly recommended
Airbags installed well. No problems with the instructions. Check clearance on the left spring mount at Fuel tank, it can get tight depending on size of the tank. May take some adjusting.
Easy install. Works flawlessly. Installed on a 2025 GMC Sierra 3500.
Very simple kit, though some difficulty reaching hardware for torquing. Works great!
Very easy to install and helps leveling out the pickup. Provides a smoother ride over bumpy roads.
The installation was pretty easier and the air bags are working fine.
The quality of these is average and perhaps below average, so I went with three stars. The tapped hole where you mount the brake line bracket was not cleanly done and had to be fought to get the bolt started (I don't have a tap/die set to fix it myself and shouldn't have to). The airline connectors are not very robust and were finnicky to get them not to leak (not the threading, the push to connect piece) even with clean square cuts. The instructions for orienting the bracketry correctly were not clear to me (maybe ok for others?). I'll try a different brand next time, but I'm not pulling these off now that they're installed. etrailer put a shipping label over the UPC code needed for the mail in rebate, but I hope Air Lift will accept it anyway. Overall, not a smooth experience for the money paid.
Good directions, install went well. Took roughly 2 hours to install. I did add some wire loom to the spots I was worried about rubbing on the air line. I would buy again. Now we will see how well they hold up. 4-07-23
I'm sure the product is great (my son has these and that's why I wanted to see if they would fit) unfortunately these would nit fit with the
Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC Truck C16429-204
Courtney was of great help, she deserves as raise.
Adds the leveling needed when I tow our 5th wheel. I have used these before on another brand of truck and would highly recommend them! Etrailer is always a pleasure to do business with. Shipping is always on time if not before I expect it.

Still working great! I would highly recommend Airlift products.
2020 GMC 2500. Did LoadLifter 5000 and EZ compressor set up.
The exhaust runs down the passenger side and the fuse box with switched power signal is on the driver side so for multiple reasons I wanted to mount the compressor on the driver side. I couldn’t do inside the rail as I would have preferred given all the DEF and fuel tanks. Above the frame rail running down most of the truck are 2 solid brake lines that would interfere with the U bolt to mount the EZ compressor assembly vertically as I originally intended. I did find a space I could fit it in without interference with those lines but it hung low and was more visible and exposed that I preferred. I did find though 2 existing holes in the frame that the U bolt fit in perfectly for a horizontal mount without interference and much higher and better tucked up under the truck for a super clean mount. The U bolt threads didn’t run deep enough for a single frame wall mount so for $3, I bought steel spacers and after painting them inside and out for corrosion resistance, I mounted very easily for a “customized” no drill $3 option. There is also a large wire harness that runs from that spot all the way to the battery so it was easy to run my wires along side and attach to that all the way up. Very happy with that location as air lines were easy to run and plenty long from there as well and put in 2 service loops just in case.
I ended up running the pink wire to the fuse box and bought some fuse splicer wires Iike in the etrailer video. Hesitated to trim the fuse box on my brand new truck so the lid would close and like to keep mods as unnoticeable as possible so wanted to see how well it performed just based on motion and waking with the remote or app. I’ll wire it later if needed but just left it tucked for now.
I also picked up some Daystar airbag cradles and mounted those to bottom bracket using the existing center hole in the bracket. Just picked up longer SS countersink bolts and hex nuts. No drill but I did have to trim the bolts off for a perfect length. Now the stretch of the airbag doesn’t limit suspension travel down and I don’t have to worry about bag damage when on a service lift down the road. Obviously when under its own weight or loaded the bags fit snugly and are well supported by the cradles. Outside of the time to buy the additional hardware that took zero additional time and is much preferred as now I can take it to the shop without worry. The only draw back is they are 6” cradles and I would have preferred the 7500# air bags for extra duty but they are 7”. I run the same setup on my 2002 Excursion and knew for sure I wanted the cradles so stayed with 5000# bags. I’m not loading a skid steer in the bed so really that should be plenty.
Love the AirLift system and have ran them for years. Glad to have them installed on my new truck and look forward to the next load.
Put pics of bags with suspension full droop, and then under normal weight. Also pics of the mounting location and final mounted compressor set up and look from side of truck.
Would recommend this set up for anyone who uses their truck like a truck and would recommend these minor mods on the install.
Putting the air bags together and installing them on the truck was pretty easy, I did take the spare tire and exhaust heat shield out of the way. Running the tubing and connecting the bags took no time at all and didn't leak any. I would give 5 stars but a couple pieces were not in the box, the customer service at etrailer did get the parts sent to me before i had a trip with my trailer scheduled. 5 stars for customer service.

I have a few miles of towing heavy trailers, 16-17K, the air bags have been flawless. 1 year down many more expected.
So far works well, Only one trip with my 2500 duramax pulling a 5th wheel camper.works well with the air lift wireless compressor,
It took a little longer to get and it took most of the day to install on my 2026 Silverado 2500 HD. But it was the 1st time putting air bags on a truck. Everything in the kit seems heavy duty and should last a very long time. I have not pulled the trailer yet but will this weekend, 700 miles or so. I did have contact with 2 customer service representative from etrailer. They were both very knowledgeable and helpful and I was glad that they worked for each trailer. They both did a great job. I would give a five star, but it’s too soon.
I purchased a set of these airbags for my old truck from etrailer and ran them for 17 years pulling a 42’ fifth wheel without any problems. So there was no hesitation for me to order the same for my new truck. I looked up everything I needed up on the etrailers site and called Josh at etrailer and he verified what I needed and got it on order. Also he verified my onboard compressor would work with the new air bags. Everything was received in a few days as usual. The airbags came with very good instructions and were no trouble to install and installation went quickly and have been preforming great. etrailer is always my go too for my truck and camper parts, also the bonus is if you have any problems or questions you can call etrailer and talk to a real person and get any problems corrected. etrailer for the win.
